According to the US News & World Report's Best Medical School Rankings 2012, University of Washington is ranked 1st for Primary Care, while Harvard University ranked 1st for Research. The ranking criteria included assessment by peer institutions, research activity, percentage of graduates entering primary care residencies, faculty resources, and student selectivity.
